I bought this fun "Geared Up Garage" set because it leaned towards the masculine side. I tend to buy most of the masculine sets because there aren't very many.
This is a very easy card to make and I was sad that I didn't have a larger "Happy Father's Day" image. It needed something larger in that spot and the one that came with the set was a lot larger and would take away from the layout of the card.
The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Night of Navy card stock. On top of that is a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White card stock. I taped it to the card base.
I cut a piece of the Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the 12" x 12" "Best Route" pack. I cut the DSP 2-1/4" x 3-3/4". I cut a piece of Night of Navy card stock at 2-3/8" x 3-7/8" for the layer. I taped those layers together and then taped them to the card front.
I stamped the car using Whisper White card stock and I used one of the "Stitched Rectangles" dies to cut it out with. I also cut a layer behind it using Night of Navy card stock. The Night of Navy was cut about 1/8" wider than what the stitched piece was cut. I taped those two layers together. I set the layers in place using Dimensionals.
I stamped the words from the retired "Teeny Tiny Wishes" set using black Memento ink.
This was a fun card to make and I will be using this set again in the near future.
