I don't often make Valentine's Day card and I didn't think I was going to make any this year because I didn't purchase any of the new sets. But today I had a couple of friends over to stamp and one of them brought their new Valentine's Day set, "Hey Love". I stamped a few images from it and this one I finished today.
The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Lovely Lipstick card stock. On top of that is a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of "All My Love" Designer Series Paper (DSP).

I stamped the cute gorilla on a 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" piece of Whisper White card stock using black Memento ink. I colored it in using Blends markers. I used Light Crumb Cake, Light Cherry Cobbler and Dark Petal Pink. I layered the piece using a 2-3/8" x 2-3/8" piece of Melon Mambo card stock.
I stamped the words from the "Hey Love" set using black Memento ink. I punched them out using the 1-1/4" circle punch. I punched out a 1-3/8" Melon Mambo circle and taped it to the word circle.
I set the gorilla layered pieces and the word pieces in place using Dimensionals.
And there you have it a fun, quick and cute Valentine's Day card!!
Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
