I found this fun card on Pinterest using the new "Hello Cupcake" Sale-a-Bration set. As I was working this card up I was thinking of all the fun I could have making cards with this set. I can't wait to play and show them to you. But, even though the stamp set will still be sitting on my worktable, I won't be using it tomorrow. I need to make an anniversary card. I'm hoping there is a new set to use to make one!!!
The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock. On top of that is a 3-1/2" x 4-3/4" piece of Pool Party card stock. And the Whisper White focal piece is cut 3-1/2" x 4-1/2".
I used Soft Suede to stamp the bottom part of the cupcake. There's the "cake" part showing that was stamped using Bermuda Bay ink. The top of the cupcake was stamped using Pool Party ink. The words, sprinkles and the heart piece were all stamped using Bermuda Bay ink.
I taped the top two layers together and then set them in place on the card base using Dimensionals.
I thought this was a fun looking card. The colors were pleasing to the eyes. It went together quickly and it was actually fun to make. I think when I use this set again, I will use more realistic colors.
Thank you SO much for stopping by today,
Wanda

Very cute. I have so many stamps that I have never used. I really should start playing with them. I don't have any of the Stampin up ones though. I've looked at them but have never bought
