Isn't this a fun card? The minute I saw it on Pinterest I knew I HAD to make it. You can see the original card here. I changed the wording, that's all.
The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock. I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White card stock and I set the stitched rectangle die on top so I could see where the words needed to go. I made a tiny pencil mark. The words are from the "Happy Birthday, Gorgeous" set. I stamped them using black Memento ink.
After stamping the words, I die cut the stitched rectangle. I had to guess at what size I needed. I had to do a lot of guessing here since the photo didn't lead to a link that gave me any info. After die cutting the rectangle, the 1-3/4" x 3-3/4" rectangle.
Next I textured it with the "Subtle" embossing folder. This folder makes the card stock look like it's linen.

I stamped the "Sheet Music" image using black Memento ink on a 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" Whisper White card stock. I cut the piece to 4-1/2" x 2-1/8". I taped it to the opening. I also cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White and taped it to the back of the piece. After you texture the piece, it feels flimsy and I wanted to set it up on Dimensionals and it would sag a lot without any support.
I had stamped the butterflies from the "Butterfly Gala" set and after punching them out I was looking closely as to how to go about coloring them. And then it dawned on me that these butterflies are from the "Botanical Butterfly" Designer Series Paper" that is one of the Sale-a-Bration" items you can pick from. I set those butterflies in place with Dimensionals and the card was done. I was SO glad I didn't have to to try to color them and try to make it look like the ones in the photo!!! I'd still be coloring! LOL
I just LOVE the look of this card. There is something about it, isn't there?
