While looking through my stamps for something to play with, I ran across the "Blooms & Wishes" set and from the looks of the set, I had not used it yet! WHAT??? That is SO unheard of. I did a search on my blog and nope, I have not used this set!!
I made a quick and simple card with this "Blooms & Wishes" set. The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock. I stamped the flower on a piece of scrap Whisper White card stock using Highland Heather ink. I stamped the center of the flower using Gorgeous Grape ink. I fussy cut the flower out.
Next I set the flower on top of the card front to see where I was going to stamp all the greens. There's four small leaf and sprig images in this set and I used them all to make the background behind the flower. On the thick leaves images, I stamped using Granny Apple Green ink and I stamped again on the card front without inking it up again. I stamped these images in a circle. It's a big old ugly mess under the flower but once the flower was set in place it actually came all together and looks nice!!
Before adding the flower, I stamped the words from the "Sheltering Tree" set using Gorgeous Grape ink.
I attached the flower using Dimensionals. I added a crystal rhinestone to the center of the flower and the card was done!
It was very quick and simple and a little pretty too!
Thank you SO much for visiting today,

Very pretty. I like the added dimension you get from fussy cutting the flower
