Today's card was a very fun and easy card to make. The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock. On top of that is a 4-1/8" x 5-3/8" piece of Gorgeous Grape card stock.
I die cut the flowered layer from the "Springtime Impressions" dies using Highland Heather card stock.
I die cut a stitched oval using Whisper White card stock. And yes, I did cut the oval before I stamped on it. I needed to know what kind of space I had to work with.
I stamped the stems part using Pear Pizzazz on the thicker stems and Granny Apple green on the thinner stems from the Abstract Impressions set.
I stamped the flowers using Highland Heather ink. And I stamped the highlights using Gorgeous Grape ink. I set the oval in place using Dimensionals.
The words are from the "Sheltering Tree" set. I stamped them using Gorgeous Grape ink. I taped the center part of the word strip and set it on top of the oval. And that was it.
I need to play with this set more. It's such a fun and easy set to use. Maybe tomorrow!!! (Because I'm not putting it away today, I have other things to do than clean off my worktable!!! LOL).
Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda

Oh I like this one. I don't know if it's the stamping or the die cut or a combination of both but it's really eye catching.
