Did you ever see a card on the internet that you just HAD to make? Well, this is one that I wanted to make REALLY bad. I struggled to find some words that would fit in the space but I did manage to do it. It's not how I would like the card to be, but it will work. I found the original card on Pinterest.
The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock. On top of that I had cut 1/4" x 5-1/2" piece strips (two of them) of the gold foil card stock. I didn't have much left and I didn't want to use a 4" x 5-1/4" piece because that would be such a waste. I taped those strips to each side of the card front.
The words are from the "Snowflake Sentiments" set. I did mask off the "from our family to yours". I stamped the words using Crumb Cake ink. I'm thinking that Soft Suede would work too. I stamped those words on a 5-1/2" x 2-1/2" piece of Whisper White card stock. I should have trimmed the sides a bit so more of the bulb image could show.

The bulb image is from the "All is Bright" 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper pack (DSP). I cut the DSP 5-1/2" x 2". I could have cut it thinner because the amount showing is less than 2".
The Whisper White piece on the right side was cut 5-1/2" x 3/4". I set both Whisper White in place using Dimensionals. And the card was done. It's a very quick layout to play with. I do like the looks of it but I think that maybe texturing the Whisper White pieces on the front might be prettier. Maybe! I don't think I'd like the words textured though. Rethinking that I would probably add the words separately if I were to texture the pieces. But for now, it is what it is!
Thank you SO much for stopping by today,
Wanda
