Only a couple more days of Christmas cards and then I have to play with my other stuff until I can order from the new 2019 Spring Occasions catalog. I will plan better with the new stuff. I am only going to order a few sets. When I order most of the things I want or like, I end up not playing with them much and they end up retiring before I got to get enough use out of them to justify putting them away to make room for more new ones I won't have time to play with!! Such a vicious cycle. But I'm learning!!!
Today's card was found on Pinterest. I thought it was such a pretty card, though I am very partial to snowflakes and snow.
The base of this card is a folded half-sheet of Balmy Blue card stock. On top of that is a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White.
I die cut the snowflake from the 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White. Then I stamped the words from the "Snow is Glistening" set using Balmy Blue ink. I taped the 4" x 5-1/4" piece to the card base.
Next I glued the center part of the die cut snowflake and set it in place over the open space on the 4" x 5-1/4" piece. It's taped on so the smaller tips are place over the space where the larger tips were cut out.
I stamped the center snowflake using Balmy Blue ink and I die cut it out. I glued it in place and I added a crystal rhinestone to the center. I added a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White to the inside of the card and it was done! How fun!
I LOVE this snowflake card!
