Snow is Glistening, Christmas Card

Today's card was a fun one to do. It was also quick and easy.  This time of the year easy is always good! I found the original card here.

The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock. On top of that is a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White that I stamped snowflakes on from the "Snow is Glistening" set.  I used Balmy Blue to stamp those snowflakes. Once the snowflakes were stamped, I taped that layer in place.

I punched out four 1-3/8" squares.  The first square I had done, I stamped the snowflake first and then punched it out. But I realized it would be easier to punch and then stamp.  Opposite of what I'm used to doing.

I used Pacific Point, Highland Heather, Granny Apple Green and Balmy Blue for the colors.

I set the squares in place using Dimensionals.  I would like to know if there is an easier way to set these squares in place other than eyeing it?  Is there any tips or tricks to this?  I like doing these squares.  Well, actually I like the looks of it. Doing them is a bit more difficult (for me anyway).  I see so many cards made using this four square look and they are just perfect.  HOW???  Any tips would be helpful.

Even with the issue of lining up the squares, I did have fun making it and I REALLY like the colors.

Thank you SO much for stopping by today,
Wanda
