I wanted to play with the "Snowfall" thinlits dies today and here's the card I came up with.
The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock. On top of that is a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Balmy Blue card stock. The focal piece is a 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" piece of Whisper White that I misted with Balmy Blue ink and 91% rubbing alcohol. I didn't try to cover the whole card. I wanted some light and darker areas. I even ended up with a big drop of the ink mixture but a snowflake covered it nicely! I love it when it works out in my favor!
I die cut the swirl of snowflakes using the silver foil paper. And I die cut a Dazzling Diamonds card stock using larger snowflake die.
I stamped some snowflakes from the "Beautiful Blizzard" set using Balmy Blue ink. I also stamped one more time on the front of the card before inking up the stamp again. I stamped the words from the "Beautiful Blizzard" set using Balmy Blue ink.
I used glue dots to hold the swirl in place and I set the larger snowflake in place using a small Dimensional. I added some rhinestones to the centers of each snowflake and I added three rhinestones to the misted piece. And the card was done!
This was a fun card to make. I LOVE snowflakes!!
