I found this card at Terri's Stamping Extravaganza a couple of months ago and I'm finally getting around to making it! I've had so many other card I wanted to make.
The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic Black card stock. On top of that is a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Garden Green. The Whisper White piece was cut 3-3/4" x 5". I cut the Poppy Parade dotted paper from the "Santa's Workshop" Specialty Designer Series Paper (SDSP). It measures 5" x 2".
I taped the SDSP in place at the bottom of the Whisper White piece. I wrapped a piece of the Poppy Parade ribbon around the front and taped the ends on the backside using transparent tape.
I die cut the Santa and the sign from the SDSP in the same "Santa's Workshop" pack. I stamped "North Pole" on the sign using black Memento ink.
I stamped the words from the "Signs of Santa" set on Whisper White card stock using black Memento ink. I punched them out using the "Everyday Label" punch.
I set the Santa in place first using Dimensionals. Next I set the "North Pole" piece in place. On the original card that piece was pretty level with the Santa. I didn't have room, which meant I probably cut my card stock a little too thin. But I like it up where it is, it gives the top part some depth.
I set the words in place using Dimensionals and the card was done. As quick as that!
This was a fun card to make and I REALLY love that SDSP!
Thank you SO much for visiting today,
