Good day to you! Today I made a gift card holder greeting card. I have made these before and they usually have a greeting on the outside, but I couldn't mess with this cute snowman receiving a gift. It's a perfect image for a gift card!
I cut a 4" x 3" piece of Garden Green card stock for the layer and the Specialty Designer Series Paper from the "Santa's Workshop" 12" x 12" pack was cut 3-7/8" x 2-7/8". I taped the layers together and taped them to the left side of the card.
I added a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White card stock on the inside and I stamped the words using the "Seasonal Chums" set.
The base of my card is Poppy Parade and the ink I used is also Poppy Parade.

You can find the instructions to make this card by clicking here. You can make these as elaborate or as simple as you like. Inside the front of the card is a pocket for you to slip in your gift card. The photos in the link will describe it better.
These are fun cards to make. I LOVE it that you can have a card and a gift card holder all in one. I should have thought of this technique before I made the birthday cards for my sister-in-laws.
Thank you SO much for stopping by today,
Wanda
