I found a pretty wedding card on Pinterest that I changed up a bit. You can see the original card here. I did make a few little changes.
The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White. This card opens on the bottom, the fold is at the top. It was cut in half on the 8-1/2" side.
I took a 5-3/8" x 4-1/8" piece of the silver foil card stock and taped it in place on the card front.
I took a piece of Whisper White card stock and a 2-3/4" x 2-3/4" piece of Whisper White card stock and centered it as much as I could. Then I ran it through the "Lovely Floral" embossing folder together. I didn't like how light the edges were on the larger piece so I lined it up on the folder and ran just that piece through again.
I stamped the words from the "Petal Palette" set using Versa Mark. I embossed them with silver embossing powder. Then I tied a silver cord around the panel, just above the words. This allows you and everyone else to see that you did not get the words stamped on straight!!! LOL
I taped the square embossed piece to a 2-7/8" x 2-7/8" piece of silver foil card stock. I set that piece in place on the card front using Dimensionals. I lined up the image as best as I could so it would look even all around. I taped that panel to the larger foil piece and the card was done.
I thought it was a pretty quick and very elegant looking wedding card. I suppose it could be used as an anniversary card as well. I liked making it and I do like how it turned out.
Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
It is either simply elegant - or elegantly simple. Both work! Beautiful card!
