I suppose this could be an anniversary card too but while I was making it I was thinking wedding.
This was a fun card to make too. The base of this card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock. The card stock was cut on the 8-1/2" side. This card opens on the right side. On top of the card base is a 4-1/8" x 5-3/8" piece of pink glitter paper.
I cut the rectangle flower image from the "Petal Promenade" 12" x 12" paper pack. I trimmed the rectangle to measure 4-1/2" x 3-1/4". The sides needed trimming more than the top and bottom. I've seen many cards using these pre-printed rectangles and it doesn't look like they were trimmed. All I can think of is the card must be larger than a half-sheet of card stock. I look at how symmetrical the card looks and don't understand how they did it without trimming. I didn't have time to figure out what was done, so I just trimmed it and I think it looks just fine. Once the center thing was added you don't see anything odd or off.
After trimming up the pre-printed piece, I cut a gold foil layer 3-3/8" x 4-5/8". I taped the gold foil layer to the pre-printed piece. I taped that to the glittered piece, I did add a little glue because I don't think tape sticks all that well to glitter paper. And then I taped those layers to the card base.
I die cut the flowered circle piece from the "Floral Frames" bundle.
I stamped the words from the "Floral Frames" set using Mossy Meadow ink. I die cut them using the second largest stitched circle die.
I die cut a Mossy Meadow scalloped circle to fit behind the stitched circle and I taped the circles together. I taped those two to the foil flowered circle. I set that in place using Dimensionals and that was it.
I think it's a very lovely, pretty and colorful wedding card.
Thank you SO much for stopping by today,
Wanda
