Today I thought I would make a card using the cat image I die cut from the "Toil & Trouble" Designer Series Paper (DSP) 12" x 12" pack. Personally I LOVE cats and this cat is adorable! I kind of wanted to keep it but I have a room full of "I should keep this stuff for no real reason". LOL
I had a lot of fun making this card. This is one of my favorite layouts for small images.
I used Basic Black for the base of my card. Crushed Curry for the yellowish layer and the stars paper is from the same DSP pack as the cat.

The words are from the "Itty Bitty Greetings" set. I was going to use the "Happy Halloween" from the Cauldron Bubble set but I didn't want to die cut ovals and scallops. Plus the white words pop out too much. Perhaps I should have used Very Vanilla card stock instead. It would have toned it down a bit. But then it wouldn't match the white outline of the cat. So, it is what it is. I stamped the words using black Memento ink and I used the "Classic Label" punch on the words. I set them in place using Dimensionals.
And one more thing I like about this Halloween card is that it's kid friendly. It's not scary at all.
The measurements for this card can be found here. I have made many cards like this and have always enjoyed making them.
