Beautiful Bouquet, Tuffed Embossing Folder, Petal Promenade DSP, Wedding Card

Today I got to play with the new "Tuffed" embossing folder. I think I played with it once already, but I make so many cards I can't remember!  I just think it's pretty and I am glad I got to play with it.  I had found a card on Pinterest and thought I would try to recreate it.  I can not find that card to link to it.  My card is pretty similar.

The base of this card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock. I textured the front with the "Tufted" embossing folder.

I cut a piece of the "Petal Promenade" Designer Series Paper (DSP) 5-1/2" x 2-1/2".  I cut a layer behind it using Powder Pink card stock. It was cut 5-1/2" x  2-3/4".

I die cut a stitched circle using Blushing Bride card stock. I wanted that circle to be a little darker than the Powder Pink.  I used a smaller circle on the center and die cut them both at the same time. I used some old Washi tape to hold the dies together so I could cut them.  I set the ring in place on the card using Dimensional pieces.

I used a smaller stitched circle die to cut the words.  The words are from the "Beautiful Bouquet" set. I stamped them using black Memento ink.  I set the words in place using Dimensionals.  Make sure you don't place them where the ring meets the word circle.  In the original card the words were down on the circle around the 5 o'clock mark instead of the 10 o'clock mark that I have mine at.  I didn't like the words so close to the white, it kind of blended in.  Moving them to the DSP made them stand out better.  I did leave some space under the words for some rhinestones or pearls. I have not put them on yet because I have not made up my mind what I want there.

It was a pretty quick and simple card to make.

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
