This card looks SO much better in person. Here it looks like some squares sitting around the background of the flower image. Well, it technically is squares sitting around the background of the flower image but they are placed there, not just sitting. LOL
The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White. This card opens on the right (the fold is on the left).
I die cut four stitched squares using the smallest square. I taped them in place on the card front.
Next I stamped and die cut the flower image using black Memento ink. The image is from the "Petal Palette" set. I colored it using the Old Olive and Bermuda Bay Blends pens.
The words are from the "Happy Birthday Gorgeous" set. I stamped them using black Memento ink.
I set the flower image in place using Dimensionals.
I thought it was a fun card and in person the squares give it a nice, fun and different look. I may add some Wink of Stella to the flowers just to give it a bit of shimmer. But I like it the way it is, so I just may leave it alone!!
