I had made a card a couple of weeks ago and I lost the focal piece. I had cut the Whisper White piece, added the Designer Series Paper (DSP) and even wrapped the black Baker's twine around it and tied a know. Then I went on to do some other things and when I got back to my workroom I couldn't find the piece I had created so I could stamp on it. That card I am referring to can be seen here. Anyway, today while I was putting some stamp sets away on my messy worktable I ran across that ready to stamp piece and this is what I did with it.
The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Gorgeous Grape card stock. On top of that is a piece of Whisper White card stock that was cut 3-1/2" x 4-3/4". A 1/2" x 4-3/4" piece of Highland Heather DSP was added to the left. Along the edge of the DSP I tied a piece of black Baker's twine.
I stamped the flowers image from the "Love What You Do" set using black Memento ink. I colored them with the Highland Heather marker. I colored in the flowers and then using the same marker I just colored over the bottoms of the flowers and a bit on the inside of some of the top petals. Coloring over the same color darkened the color just enough to give it a shadow look.
The words are from the "You're Inspiring" set. I stamped them using black Memento ink. I taped the focal piece to the card base and I added a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White to the inside and the card was done!! Quick and fun!

Always love the simplicity of your cards, Wanda. The focal point and sentiment make the card. Thank you, Wanda.
