I like the layout of this card. It allows you to use busy Decorative Series Paper (DSP) or Specialty Decorative Series Paper (SDSP) as was used here. Though this particular sheet doesn't have any shimmer on it like most of the SDSP sheets have.
This card was quick and easy to make too.
The base of this card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock. This card opens from the right side.
I cut a Rich Razzleberry piece of card stock 4" x 5-1/4". And I cut the SDSP 4" x 3-7/8". I marked the right side at 2" from the bottom corner. I cut the piece at an angle from the 4" side to the mark. Instead of trying to cut a piece of Whisper White card stock to fit that angle, I just cut a 5" x 3-7/8". I taped the SDSP to the Whisper White piece. I stamped the words from the "Happy Birthday Gorgeous" set using Rich Razzleberry ink.
Next I added the Rich Razzleberry Velvet ribbon to the card, taping the edges onto the backside. Then I taped that whole piece to the Rich Razzleberry piece. And I taped the Rich Razzleberry piece to the card base. And that was it. This is another card that allows you to use up some of that hoarded decorative paper!!
