Dandelion Wishes, Petal Promenade Paper,

You can't go wrong making a wedding or anniversary card using the "Petal Promenade" Designer Series Paper (DSP). It's SO pretty.  There's a few floral designs in the pack, so I'll be making more pretty cards in the near future.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Petal Pink.  On top of that is a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White card stock that I textured using the "Tufted" embossing folder.  Then I took a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of the DSP and I cut it in half on the long angle. I taped that piece to the bottom corner of the textured piece. This was actually the top half of the angle but it looked better on the bottom. It was all in how the flowers looked like they were laying.

Next I stamped the words from the "Dandelion Wishes" set using Smoky Slate ink.  I die cut it with the circle die. Then I die cut a larger circle using Petal Pink card stock and behind that is a scalloped circle cut from Whisper White card stock.  I taped those layers together.  Then I set them in place using Dimensionals.

And for the final touch I tied a bow using the new"Polka Dot Tulle" ribbon.  I found this ribbon a little difficult to work with. The trick here is to not tie the bow real tight or you won't be able to adjust it. If you pull too hard on the ribbon it will rip.  I tied the center of the knot too tight and I tried to adjust the bows to be more equal and I ended up ripping the bottom of the bow off.  So the next one I made I was careful not to make it so tight.  I set the bow in place with a glue dot.  And the pretty card was finished.

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
