While cleaning up in my workroom (a rarity LOL), I ran across this leaf. I had made it last fall and I used it on a card which I had posted on here. You can see that card here.
I thought I would take another stab at the stitched squares on a card. But this time I set them in a box formation. I used the smallest stitched square die. I cut four of them from Whisper White card stock. I set them on top of the card so I knew where I needed to stamp the words. The words are from the "Happy Birthday Gorgeous" set and I used black Memento ink to stamp them.
Next I set the squares in place using Dimensionals.
The leaf was made by sponging on some Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight and Garden Green ink on some card stock. I stamped the leaf using Cajun Craze ink and then die cut it with the matching die in the "Colorful Season" bundle. I'm not sure what my plans were for the extra leaves. Maybe I just wanted to use up the card stock that I colored! Sometimes it's kind of fun running across things like this and coming up with an idea for it. Most often I run across things and tuck them away again because I can't think of what to do with them. But today I lucked out!!!
After putting the squares in place, I added glue dots to the corners (not exposed) on each of the squares. I set the leaf in place and the card was done.
Such a fun, quick and simple card to make.
Thank you SO much for visiting today,
