Beautiful Bouquet, Petal Promenade, Anniversary Card

Today I found a card on Pinterest that I thought would be fun to recreate. I did change it some. The original card has a video so you can follow along. The original card is also a three fold card, mine is a single fold.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Gorgeous Grape card stock.  It's cut in half on the 8-1/2" side.  I cut the front right edge off at 1-1/4".

I cut a 4-1/8" x 5-3/8" piece of Whisper White card stock and taped it to the inside. I also cut a 1-1/4" piece of the "Petal Promenade" Designer Series Paper (DSP).  I cut it from the strip of flowers on the sheet that has the square and rectangle images on it.  I used one of the squares on the front of this card.  You get six of them on the sheet, plus three of the rectangle ones and the strip of flowers along the edge. Nothing goes to waste on that sheet.

On the front of the card I took a piece of the DSP and cut it 4-1/8" x 4-1/8" and I taped it in place. I cut a 3-5/8" x 3-5/8" piece of vellum. I centered it on the card front.

I cut the square of flowers so it measured 3" x 3". I stamped the words using the "Beautiful Bouquet" set with black Memento ink.

I cut a piece of Mossy Meadow 3-1/8" x 3-1/8" and I taped it to the flowered square. Then I cut a piece of the silver foil paper 3-1/4" x 3-1/4" and taped it to the Mossy Meadow piece. I added Dimensionals to the back and set it in place.

I tied a ribbon around the front right edge and tied a knot. I added a glue dot under it to hold it in place. I added a 3" piece of the tiny sequins ribbon to the center of the ribbon, pressing it into the glue dot.  And the card was done.

This card has lots of layers but it was fun to make.  It's not exactly like the original card but it's close and I like the way it turned out.  The original card was great inspiration! I liked it because I was able to use one of the square images. I find square images a big challenge.

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
