Here's another set I have a lot of fun playing with. I was working on a stamping project and I had to stop because I was just not having fun with it at all. If you're not enjoying what you are creating, move on. This card was fun from the beginning to the very end!
The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock. On top of that is a 4" x 4-1/4" piece of Whisper White card stock that was textured using the "Pinewood Planks" embossing folder. I had a problem getting the piece to stay straight in my folder. I ended up using a post it note to hold it while I ran it through my Big Shot. I ran the same piece of paper though and it looks just fine. If anything it gave it even more texture.
I stamped the vase from the "Varied Vases" set using Smoky Slate ink. I punched it out with the matching punch. Ya gotta love it when you don't have to fussy cut!!!. Sometimes I still cut the vases, I don't like a lot of white showing on the edges or I don't get them centered in the punch.
I took a scrap piece of Whisper White card stock and stamped the outline of the flowers. Then I stamped the petals. I did use the Stamperatus to make sure the flowers were lined up exactly. I LOVE it when I don't have to try to get the image on straight by eyeing it! After I stamped it, I set the vase in place to see what oval die I would need. I ended up using the stitched oval die. I used Real Red card stock and die cut an oval layer. I taped those two layers together. I added Dimensionals to the back of it and set it on top of the card front but I didn't remove the backing. I want to make sure I know where to place the words.

The words are also from the same set. I stamped them using Real Red ink. I trimmed the piece the words were on to 1/2" x 2". I cut the layer under the words 1/2" x 3". I snipped the ends. Then I added Dimensionals to the word piece and centered it on the 3" strip. I set the oval in place and then taped the words to the front of the card.
I added Dimensionals to the back of the embossed Whisper White piece and I set that in place on top of the card base. And there you have it. It's super easy and quick too! Plus pretty!!!
Thank you SO much for visiting today,
