Petal Palette, Itty Bitty Greetings, Birthday Card, 2018-2019 Stampin' Up! Catalog

When Rich Razzleberry came out I just LOVED that color and then this year they came out with Rich Razzleberry velvet ribbon.  I LOVE that even more. You can't go wrong with velvet ribbon!!! I just LOVE the feel of it.

I found this card (sort of) on Pinterest. I say sort of because I changed a few things.

The base of this card is a folded half-sheet of Rich Razzleberry card stock.  On top of that is a 3-3/4" wide by 3-1/2" long piece of the "Share What You Love" Specialty Designer Series Paper (SDSP).  It's specialty because of the shimmer on the images.  Though the top piece has the shimmer on the other side.  But the bottom piece has the shimmer on the flowers and leaves.  I cut that piece 3-3/4" wide by 2" long.  I taped the two pieces together so the piece equaled 3-3/4" wide by 5" long.  I used the Rich Razzleberry ribbon to hide the seam.

I took a half of one of the new shimmery doilies and taped it to the edge of the ribbon.

I stamped the flower from the "Petal Palette" using black Memento ink.  I stamped the words from the "Itty Bitty"Greetings" set. I should have played with the image and words a bit more because there is room to add the words without them touching the stem of the flowers.

I colored the flowers using Rich Razzleberry Blends markers and the leaves using Old Olive Blends.  I die cut the circle using the "Stitched Circles" die.  I set the circle in place using Dimensionals.  And that was it. It's a very quick and easy card to make.  The original card used the "Share What You Love" set, which I have but I liked this flower better and I thought it went with the SDSP better.  Either way the card will be pretty!

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
