I found a card on Pinterest and I really liked the layout. I didn't have the images used in the original card but that didn't matter, I really was more interested in the layout. So what I did was I took the second largest stitched circle die and went over to my stamp sets and looked to see what would fit in the center and this is what I came up with.
The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock. This card opens on the right side.
I used a 1" strip of the Melon Mambo from the "Brights"Designer Series Paper 6" x 6" pack. I cut it to 5-1/2" long. I taped it in place about 1/2" from the left edge.
I stamped the flowers from the "Petal Palate" set and I colored them in using the Melon Mambo marker and a blender pen. I colored the leaves using the Pear Pizzazz marker. I die cut them out with the stitched circle die.
The words are from the "Dandelion Wishes" set. I stamped them using black Memento ink. I die cut them with the same size stitched die. I taped the words in the center and about 5/8" from the right edge of the card front. I added Dimensionals to the back of the flower stamped circles and set them in place. I made sure they covered the word circle a little bit.
I added some fun sequins using tiny glue dots. You can also just use regular glue and a toothpick to add the glue so you don't make a huge mess! And that was it. I think it's a very pretty and cheery card.
Thank you SO much for stopping by today,
Wanda
