I can't believe how horrible I am at taking photos with my camera. I'm REALLY good with my 35 mm camera but when it comes to the camera phone. Well, you can see for yourself!!! But you get the gist of the image and it's almost always in focus, it's just almost always crooked that's all! LOL
Oh and I'm not sure why I can't get my text to be "normal" instead of below my image. But I'm leaving it because I spent a lot of time trying to figure out what was wrong and I give up. SO it is what it is today!
Today's card was a super fun and easy card to make. At least that went well! LOL
The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock. On top of that is a 5-1/8" x 3-7/8" piece of Soft Sued card stock. And the Whisper White focal piece was cut 4-7/8" x 3-5/8".
I used the "Waterfront" set to make this card. The mountain was stamped first and I used Soft Suede card stock. I stamped off once and then on the Whisper White piece. Next I stamped the "grass" using the new Granny Apple Green. It gives it the look of spring. I will have to try this in the fall using a darker green for the "grass" and a darker blue for the water and see if it gives the feeling of the season! And then again by the time fall rolls around I will have forgotten I was thinking of doing that!!! LOL
Okay, after I added the "grass" I stamped the trees using Garden Green. I wish I would have taken the Early Espresso marker and drawn in the trunks. It would give the trees a little more definition. The water was stamped using the new Balmy Blue and I did stamp off once before stamping on the Whisper White.
The words are from the "Perennial Birthday" set and were stamped using Soft Suede, right from the ink pad, not stamped off. And that was it. I just taped the layers together and I was done! As quick and simple as that. And it's such a wonderful masculine card. It would also make a great masculine get well card or even a Father's Day card.
Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
