While biding my time waiting for my new stuff to come, I ran across a pretty card on Pinterest. I did change it a little but for the most part it's the same.
This was a fun and simple card to make. The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Crumb Cake card stock. I sponged the edges with Crumb Cake ink. On top of that is 4" x 5-1/4" Early Espresso card stock. And the focal Crumb Cake part of the card is 3-3/4" x 5".
First I stamped the flower from the "Touches of Texture" image using Crumb Cake, stamped off once. I stamped three of them. Then I stamped the flower branch image. I stamped directly from the ink pad. I stamped the dragonfly right from the ink pad. Then I stamped the speckled images straight from the ink pad and once again without reinking.
I colored the flowers with So Saffron ink and a blender pen. I also colored the dragonfly wings with So Saffron ink. I colored the body with Soft Suede ink.
The words are from the "Thoughtful Banners" set. I stamped the banner using Soft Suede ink and then I stamped the words. I punched the banner out and added Dimensionals to the back.
I took a piece of the lacy ribbon and set it in place on the Crumb Cake card stock. I taped the layers together and then I set the words in place. I even added the tiny pearls before I posted the photo. Pretty, huh? And that was it!
Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
