Today I found an extremely beautiful sympathy card on Pinterest. I am not a big fan of heat embossing. I'm not sure why. I think because it doesn't show the immediate results like ink stamping does. Plus you need to use that powder resin bag thing to avoid static and not get powder where you don't want it. Too many steps I guess. But I went ahead and did it anyway!!! And I'm glad I did. LOL
The base of this card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock. On top of that is a 2-1/4" x 4-3/4" piece of Whisper White. I used VersaMark to stamp the flower from the "Touches of Texture" set and the words from the "Flourishing Phrases" set. Before I stamped it, I ran the "Embossing Buddy" across the card stock. After stamping I sprinkled it with gold embossing powder. I heat set the powder.
Next I cut a gold foil piece of card stock 2-3/8" x 4-7/8". I taped those layers together. I tied them with some gold ribbon I had. Then I set the panel in place on the card using Dimensionals. And that was it. It was such a simple and quick card to make, plus it's SO elegant looking.

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
