I'm still biding my time waiting for my new stuff to arrive!!! I found this fun card on Pinterest and I had everything to make it. I didn't use the same colors but it's close enough for me!!!
The base of this card is a folded half sheet of Early Espresso card stock. It's cut in half on the 8-1/2" side, so this card opens at the bottom.
On top of the card base is a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Crushed Curry.
The next layer is a 4-3/4" x 3-1/4" piece of Early Espresso card stock and the focal piece is Whisper White cut 4-1/2" x 3".
I die cut a dragonfly from the "Dragonfly Dreams" bundle. I die cut it in Early Espresso and colored over it using the Wink of Stella pen.
Now for the fun part. I took my sponge dauber and sponged on some Crushed Curry ink. I did twist the dauber to scrub the color onto the card stock. Then I came in with some Pumpkin Pie ink and did the same thing, plus I lightly added some around the open areas. Next I took the ferny looking image from the "Timeless Textures" set and stamped off once using Bermuda Bay ink. And for the final bit of color, I used the dotted image from the "Timeless Textures" and Early Espresso ink stamped off twice. I just dotted it on.
The words are from the "You're Inspiring" set and I stamped them using Early Espresso ink. And that was it!
I taped the Crushed Curry to the card base. I taped the Whisper White piece to the Early Espresso piece and I set that on the card using Dimensionals. I added two pieces of Dimensionals to the upper part of the dragon fly and set it in place on the card.
I thought this was a fun card to make. And pretty too!
Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
