Amazing You, Petal Palate, Beautiful Bouquet, Wedding Card, 2018 Sale-a-Bration & 2018 Occasions Catalog

I SO love white on white cards.  I was hesitant about making this card because, after all I had to fussy cut not just one but three flowers. And it ended up being 6 flowers, 3 bases and 3 layered on top.  Funny thing, I always survive it!!! LOL

So, onto how I made this fun wedding card.

The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock.  I cut it in half on the 8-1/2" side so this card opens from the bottom.

Next I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Smoky Slate card stock.

I cut the focal piece 3-7/8" x 5-1/8".

I stamped the leaves from the "Petal Palate" set using Smoky Slate ink.  Then I stamped the dotted piece from the "Petal Palate" set. I only inked about an inch of it and I stamped it 7 or 8 times around the parameter of the three flowers.  I had set 3 bases on the card front for placement of the leaves and dots but I didn't stick them in place.  I needed to be able to move them to add more stuff.  I also took a blender pen and some Smoky Slate ink and colored in some areas to give it a dusty look.  Click on the photo, you can see some of it just above the top flower.  I did add some Wink of Stella to the 6 flower pieces.

I took some of the silver thread and wound it up and stuck it down with a glue dot.  Then I joined the top flower to the base and set the flowers in place using Dimensionals.  I had die cut 2 large branches from the "Petal Palate" set using the Dazzling Diamonds glitter paper.  One flower was cut using the double sided sheet so it was more like a sticker.  And the other I just glued the ends under the flowers.  I cut that leave stem in pieces and used them throughout the card front.  I added some "Clear Faceted Gems" to the center of each flower and for the final touch I added some rhinestones around the card.

The words are from the "Beautiful Bouquet" set using Basic Gray ink.

I taped the layers together and the card was finished.  I REALLY like how this card turned out.

Thank you SO much for stopping by today,
Wanda
