This was the 4th photo I took of this card. The other three made the Whisper White look like it was blue. Not sure what the issue was. It must have had something to do with the lighting. But at least I got a more truer color here. I found this card on Pinterest and I thought it would be fun to make.
The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White. The Basic Black piece was cut 4" x 5-1/4" and the Pirouette Pink piece was cut 3-7/8" x 5-1/8". I used the new "Petal Pair" embossing folder on the Pirouette Pink piece. After embossing, I taped it to the Basic Black and then I taped those two layers to the card base.
I stamped the image and die cut it using a large circle die and a scallop was die cut using Basic Black card stock. I colored the flower in using the Pink Pirouette marker and a blender pen. I stamped the word "You" on it and then I taped those two layers together and I set it in place with Dimensionals.
I stamped the "are simply" under the circle and the "amazing" was die cut using Basic Black ink. I used a sticky sheet when I die cut it so I didn't have to try to glue those thin letters in place.
This is a pretty simple and quick card to make. The part that took the longest was the coloring. Everything else went quickly.
