I REALLY love playing with this new "Waterfront" stamp set that is in the 2018 Occasions catalog. There's SO much you can do with this set. Today I decided to make a dad birthday card.
The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Early Espresso card stock. On top of that is a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of the "True Gentleman" Designer Series Paper (DSP) and on top of that is the Whisper White focal piece that was cut 3-3/4" x 5".
I stamped the mountains first. I used Crumb Cake and stamped off once. Then I added the trees. I wanted to make sure they were showing a bit above the mountain. I used Garden Green ink to stamp them. I wish I would have used a marker and colored over the trunks so they weren't green, but this is what I did!
Next I used Pool Party ink and stamped in the water. And then I took Old Olive ink and the long strip image and stamped on the ground.
I made a mask for the mountains and stamped the sun using Daffodil Delight.
The words are from the "Guy Greetings" set and I used Early Espresso to stamp them.
It's a pretty simple card to make. I think I'd like to try another one sometime soon. Keep an eye out for it, it will be the same image layout but a different look!! Now are you curious? LOL
Thank you SO much for visiting today,
