I have not made a "One Sheet Wonder" (OSW) card in a long time. When you use a full sheet of card stock you are not only making one card but you are making four!! I stamped my images and then cut my card stock in to four pieces. I found the technique using the "Heartfelt Blooms" image here.
I started out stamping the image in the center of the card stock using Powder Pink ink. Then I stamped the Calypso Coral ink. Looking at the card stock and having the Powder Pink image being the center, view the card stock as a clock when placing the following colors. The Calypso Coral was stamped at the 5, 9, and 1 o'clock position. And the Melon Mambo was stamped at the 11,2, and 7 o'clock position. Then fill in the open areas with a color that is not the same as the one you are stamping next to. It's easy and you really can't make any mistakes. I put the "wrong" color in one spot and it looked just fine. Fill in and you are done! Cut the card stock into pieces and make some fun cards. Here I cut mine at 3-3/4" x 5". I cut the Calypso Coral card stock layer at 4" x 5-1/4" and I used a folded half sheet of Whisper White for the card base.
After I taped the OSW piece to the Calypso Coral piece, I added a 1-1/4" x 5-1/4" strip of Melon Mambo card stock at an angle. I let the ends hang over and cut them off by hand once I taped them in place. Then I tied some of the new pink "Love" mini tinsel trim to that strip and around the card.
The words are from the "Heartfelt Blossoms" set and were stamped using Melon Mambo ink. I punched them out using the "Tailored Tag" punch. I also punched out a Powder Pink piece and cut it in half the long way. I taped each half to the back of the word piece. I set that piece in place using Dimensionals and that was it. I had 4 quick cards!!!
Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
