I saw this fun card on Pinterest and I thought I would make it with what I had. You can see the original card here. Mine is a little different but I still like it. Of course I didn't have all the same parts but I had most of them. I had the words, I had the Decorative Series Paper (DSP), I had the gold foil and a couple of the snowflakes.
Here's how I made mine. I used a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock. My piece of the "Year of Cheer" DSP was in a little gift pack, it was cut at 4", so I had to work with that. Not a problem. I cut that piece 3" x 4". I cut a 1.2" piece of gold foil paper and taped it behind the DSP. I set it in place, I didn't tape it yet. I wanted to see where the words were to go. The words are from the "Snowflake Sentiments" set and I used Soft Suede ink to stamp them.
I taped the DSP piece in place. I die cut the three snowflakes from the "Seasonal Layers" thinlits set. The original had a different snowflake. I don't know what set it's from but I just used what I had. I cut the largest and the smallest snowflake using the gold foil paper. I die cut the middle size snowflake using Whisper White card stock. I attached them together with glue dots. I used a Dimensional to set it in place on the card. I added a gold faceted gem to the center of the snowflake. I also added three strips of the tiny gold sequins string under the snowflakes. I thought it could use a little something there. I do like how it turned out. I wished I had ordered some of that DSP but I'm sure I would just hoard it anyway!!! LOL
