I have had so much fun with the "Seasonal Chums" set. I haven't made any tags with it. Maybe I should, one of these days. Not like there's a lot of extra time this year. But the tags are adorable and easy enough to make. I don't need anymore tags for this year. I have everything wrapped and tagged. Maybe next year. I might just stamp and die cut these guys throughout the year and color them on my down time (TV time) and I'll have plenty of tags for next year!! Great plan, let's see if it really happens!! My guess is probably not!!! LOL
Anyway, the base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Real Red card stock. On top of that is a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White card stock. I cut a strip of wreaths and bows from the "Christmas Around the World" Decorative Series Paper. I layered it with a 1-1/2" x 5-1/4" piece of Real Red card stock. I also die cut a Real Red scalloped circle and I die cut a stitched circle of Whisper White that I set the snowman on using Dimensionals.
I found a snowflake on my worktable. It was from my swap cards on Tuesday. I lost them and had to cut more. When I was done with my cards, there they were on the corner of my stamping mat. They weren't there when I was looking for them. UGH!! I hate it when that happens. I blame the aliens!!! LOL I set that snowflake in place using a Dimensional. The snowman was colored in using markers.
The words are from the "Merry Patterns" set and I stamped them using Real Red. I was going to use Garden Green but I grabbed the red by mistake. I think it looks just fine.
This was a very fun and quick card to make.
Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
