I had received the gold doily with the silver foil die cut deer and trees on a package. I hated to toss it out, so I carefully removed it from the package and attached it to a paper doily. Then I taped it to a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Night of Navy card stock. I added a silver bow to the top of the silver deer and tree image (I believe that was from last years Holiday Occasions Catalog).
The words are from the "Merry Patterns" set and I punched them out and set them in place over the gold thread I wound around the Night of Navy piece before I taped it to a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock.
I want to say it's a quick card to make and I'm sure if you had to cut the deer out yourself, it would still be a quick card. But it's SO much quicker when a lot of the work was already done. That is why I like finding things on my worktable and put them together and make a fun card. This was a fun card to make.

Very pretty! Merry Christmas to you and your family.
The gold and silver look so pretty together. Creative idea to make a card from the pretty embellishment. Love recycling ideas.
