Hometown Greetings, Oh What Fun, Christmas Card, Polished Stone Technique

I'm trying not to make too many Christmas cards right now. It's still Halloween and fall, so I want to concentrate more on those two themes for now.  I have a few fun sets to use and I want to make sure I play with them enough because more than likely they will not find their way to the new 2018-2019 Catalog.

This is a very simple card to make.  Once the Polished Stone Technique is dry then you can cut the circle. You can see how to do the Polished Stone technique by clicking here. What I did here was I die cut the house line from the "Hometown Greetings" Edgelets set using Whisper White card stock.  The Dazzling Diamonds glitter paper would be pretty too, but you can't stamp the words on the bottom part.  If I would have opted to go that way, I would have moved the house line down so more of the sky was visible and then I would have just stamped the words on the card base.

So, after I got the house line die cut, I used a large round die and cut the sky piece and the edgelet images at the same time. I stamped the words from the "Oh, What Fun" set using Night of Navy ink and then I taped those two pieces together.

I added Dimensionals to the back and taped it to a half sheet of Whisper White that was cut on the short side at 4-1/4".  This card opens from the bottom. And that was it.  Why didn't I think of this card earlier?  I could be done with my Christmas cards by now!

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
