This was a fun, quick and simple find. I was looking for an easy masculine card on Pinterest and my clicking and clicking and getting stuck in a loop finally landed me to the post where I found this card. So, after all that clicking I decided that I was going to make this card. My time for stamping was running out from all the hunting of the one card I REALLY wanted to make, but oh well, this is what I ended up with today. You can see the original card here.
The base of this card is a folded half-sheet of Basic Black card stock. On top of that is a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of the "Wood Textures" Decorative Series Paper in the 6" x 6" stack.
The words are from the "Happy Birthday" Thinlits and were die cut using Basic Black card stock. They were glue din place.
The "it's your day" words are from the "Happy Birthday Gorgeous" set and I stamped them on a scrap piece of Whisper White card stock using Memento black ink. I should have used Very Vanilla card stock, the white is kind of bright for the wood background. But is a guy really going to notice that? I doubt it! I set the word in place using Dimensionals and the card was done. I told you it was quick!!!
Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
