I found this super easy and quick masculine card on Pinterest. You can see the original card here. I thought it looked like it would be an easy card to make since there's not a lot to it. It is!
The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Wild Wasabi card stock. On top of that is a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Garden Green card stock. You will also need a scrap piece of Basic Black cut 4" x 1-3/8". And then your Decorative Series Paper (DSP). Mine is from the "Wood Texture" DSP 6" x 6" pack. The piece I used here was cut 1-1/2" x 4".
I taped the DSP to the Basic Black piece. I taped that piece in place on the Garden Green card stock about 1-1/4" from the top. Then I got out my scoring board and marked to little scorelines on each side of the DSP layer. I turned the card stock over, found those lines and scored them on the backside. It just looked nicer with the grooves on the front instead. I stamped the words from the "Guy Greetings" set using Basic Black ink and I taped the Garden Green layer to the Wild Wasabi base. And that was it. Such a super quick and easy card to make!
Now I'm off to work on my card for the Tuesday night swap.
Thank you SO much for stopping by,
Wanda
