Here's another alternative card I made with the September 2017 Paper Pumpkin kit. I just LOVE the leaves but don't have a need for the pillow boxes or note cards, so I will be coming up with some alternative cards. These are fun to put together and this was a very fun card to make.
The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Old Olive card stock. On top of that is a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Very Vanilla card stock that I sponged the edges with Old Olive ink.
I used the "Timeless Textures" set for the background fun! I used the grid image and Old Olive ink. I stamped it partially off on the top right and bottom left. Then I took what I refer to the coffee rings and Cajun Craze ink. I stamped once with solid ink and then I stamped again without re-inking. I stamped that image 3 times on the front. Then I took the dotted image and I used Soft Suede stamped off and just stamped a lot on the front, top and bottom. I said a lot because that image doesn't have very many dots, so to cover a big area you need to stamp a lot. I used Crushed Curry for the leaf that came from the Paper Pumpkin kit. I thought the background could use a leaf. I think it worked. And finally I stamped the words from the "Special Celebrations" set using Soft Suede ink. I set this piece in place on top of the card base using Dimensionals.
I had assembled my leaves earlier and now they are all just waiting for me to come up with an idea for the background for them!! I had set the leaf in place using Dimensionals. SO much fun!!!
Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
