Oh What Fun, Seasonal Chums, Swirl Snowflakes Thinlits, Christmas Card

The "Seasonal Chums" set is such a fun one.  There's pumpkin, a reindeer and a snowman.  A turkey would have been fun too! These images have a backside to them too. They fold over tag toppers.  There's also a hole on one side of the die so you can tie a string or bow.  These are fun as tags or a stand alone image. I did use the die cut after I stamped the snowman. I trimmed the top from the center where it can be folded.  I colored the snowman in using markers and I set him in place on top of a 2-3/16" x 1-15/16" piece of Whisper White card stock.  The layer under it is a 2-1/4" x 2" piece of Soft Sky.  After I cut the Soft Sky, I thought that Pool Party may have been a better color choice.  Those layers were taped on top of a 2-1/4" x 5-1/2" piece of the snowflake paper from the "Christmas Around the World" Decorative Series Paper (DSP) 12" x 12" pack.  I slid the end of the DSP in the ribbon punch.  The paper was wider than the punch but it did go in. There was a little bit of a chunk of paper on each tip to trim up, but once it was trimmed it looked just fine.  

The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock.  On top of that is a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of DSP from the "Christmas Around the World" pack.  I loved those dotted snowflake images.

I took a half doily and taped it behind the ribbon piece before it was all taped to the card front.

The snowman is set in place using Dimensionals.  Isn't that bunny adorable?

The words are from the "Oh, What Fun" set. I stamped them using Real Red ink on Whisper White card stock. I layered it on a piece of Basic Black card stock that was die cut with a scalloped oval.  I set that layer in place using Dimensionals.  I added a few sequins and thought the card looked done. Then I noticed the swirl die in the "Swirly Snowflakes" Thinlits pack and thought some "wind" would look nice on the card.  I used the Dazzling Diamonds glitter paper for those.  I glued them in place, just gluing the ends.  And then it looked finished.
