I'm not too sure about this card. When I finished it, it looked like to me that I was trying to mix leaves and celery!!! The top stamped flower from the "Wile about Flowers" set stem part reminds me of celery. Or maybe even carrot tops. Anyway, the reason I used it was because I thought the flowers that went with the set would work with the "Delightful Daisy" Decorative Series Paper (DSP).
To make this card I took a half-sheet of Whisper White card stock, cut it on the 8-1/2" side. This card folds on the top and opens on the bottom.
At the bottom of the card, the "Delightful Daisy" DSP piece measures 4-1/4" x 2". I set it in place so I could see where to stamp the stem image. I did not tape it down until I was done stamping the flowers. The stem was stamped using Old Olive ink. The flowers were stamped using Calypso Coral ink. I had stamped them on the card front but after I assembled the card, I thought it looked too flat so I stamped two more flowers and cut them out. I set them in place with Dimensionals.
I had taped the DSP and then added a 1/4" strip of Wisteria Wonder over the top edge of the DSP.
The words are from the "Beautiful Bouquet" set and stamped using Wisteria Wonder.
The flowers were fussy cut out and set in place with Dimensionals.
It's a pretty simple card to make though I think it leaves room for improvement.
Thank you SO much for visiting today,
