Today I'm going to share with you a super quick and easy birthday card. And NO fussy cutting!
The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock. The top layer is 4" x 5-1/4" and was embossed using "Garden Trellis". I added a 2-1/8" x 5-1/4" Old Olive strip. On top of that is a piece of "Delightful Daisy" Decorative Series Paper (DSP). You don't have to make yours that wide if you have some scrap. My DSP was a scrap piece so I just used it as it was. I taped it to the front of the embossed panel. I used Dimensionals to add it to the front of the card.
I die cut a third from the largest round scalloped framelit using Old Olive card stock.
I stamped the words using Basic Black ink and the "Birthday Delivery" stamp set. I used the second largest stitched circle framelt. I taped it to the Old Olive scalloped circle. I added Dimensionals to the back and I set it in place.
I die cut the balloons from the ""Birthday Memories" DSP. I set them in place with Dimensionals. I did use a Dimensional to stick the Baker's Twine to the back of the balloon. I curled it with my scissors like you would with curling ribbon, except my scissors were closed. If you use the blade side you will shred the twine.
It's a fun and quick card to make.
Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
