I just couldn't resist getting the "Tranquil Tulips" Hostess set. I thought it had a lot of potential and I'm right. There's LOTS of occasions this set can be used for.
This is a very simple card to make and what is most amazing about this set is, you don't have to stamp off to get that lighter layered look. It makes stamping the flowers so much easier and quicker.
The base if this card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White cardstock. On top of that is a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Berry Burst, one of the new 2017-2019 in colors. It's SO pretty!!! The top layer is a 3-3/4" x 5" piece of Whisper White cardstock.
I first stamped the stems using Pear Pizzazz ink. Then I added the flowers using the new Berry Burst ink. For the centers of the flowers I used Chocolate Chip ink

I stamped the words using Always Artichoke ink and the "Happy Birthday Gorgeous" set. And that was it. A super simple and quick card to make!
