I've still got my May 2017 Paper Pumpkin kit sitting out. I know that surprises you!! LOL I never seem to put anything away, that is why my workroom and my house is such a mess!!! I look back about 20 years ago when my house was spotless!! What a boring life I had back then!! LOL
Now onto how I made this card. I used a folded half sheet of Blushing Bride cardstock for the base. Then I added that frosting looking stickers from the Paper Pumpkin kit. I used two of them. I did rip a few of them so I could only have the bumps showing on the outer edges.
Next I cut one of the blue "donuts" apart and taped it in place on top of the "frosting". Then I added a paper doily. Next I die cut a swirly nesty looking thing from the "Swirly Bird" thinlits using the darker yellow donut from the kit. I taped the swirly thing in place on two sides. The 9 and 3 o'clock positions. I knew the word ribbon would hide it.
I took some of the gold and white twine and wrapped it around my hand and formed a circle with it. It looks like a total of three wraps. Then I took a glue dot to hold the circle round. I did that at the 9 and 3 o'clock positions too. I set the twine in place on top of the swirly thing.
Next I stamped the words from the kit onto the blue ribbon piece that was also in the kit. I set that in place using Dimensionals. Then I stamped the center of the flowers that I had punched out with the punch that went with the "Petite Petals" set. I added some of the yellow dots to the center of each flower, those also came with the kit. I die cut some leaves and added them behind the flowers and then set the flowers in place using Dimensionals. And that was it. It was pretty simple to make. I think it took me longer to think of what to do with the pieces than it did to assemble the card!
