Today I am going to share with you the card I made for this months Technique Swap. This technique is called the "Accordion Fold". It's super easy to do and pretty quick too. It depends on how much paper cutting you want to do. I only cut the paper for the panels I could see. You can cut more paper for the panels once the whole card is open.
I used the "Birthday Memories" Designer Series Paper (DSP). On the other side of this paper there is a bunch of poodles. Not one of my favorite images for DSP but fortunately the yellow was something I was looking for so it all worked out.
The cake is from the same DSP pack. I used the "Birthday Friends" Framelits to cut them out. I LOVE it that the paper and dies matched, plus in the "Birthday Delivery" set there is a cake but you have to color them in yourself. They are the same size as these! I stamped the chef and colored him in myself. There were no chef images to just die cut and tape! But you do need to stamp now and then!! LOL
On the inside panels I used the words from "Birthday Delivery" set. I stamped them directly on to the DSP using Basic Black ink.
The instructions to make this fun fold can be found here. There's a lot of fun ways to play with this layout.
Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
