Well, if this wasn't one of the easiest cards I've made in a while. The only stamping was the "Happy Birthday" from the "Birthday Delivery". The rest was decorative paper. Yup, you read that right! I found this card on Google search. I thought it was a good way to use the red and white decorative paper from the "Birthday Memories" 12" x 12" Decorative Series Paper (DSP). You can see the original card here.
The base of this card is a folded half-sheet of Real Red. On top of that is the layered Whisper White piece that was cut 4" x 5-1/4". I took the red and white DSP and cut it 1-3/4" x 5-1/4". The striped paper was cut 1" x 5-1/4". I taped the striped piece to the red and white piece, I made sure the pieces together measured 2-1/8", or close to it. You don't need to be exact, who's going to measure??? Once I got the striped piece onto the red and white piece I taped them to the left side of the Whisper White piece.
Next I stamped the words from the "Birthday Delivery" set using Real Red ink. I used the Stitched Oval Thinlit to cut them out. I also die cut the hat from the "Birthday Memories" DSP. I set the word oval in place using Dimensionals and I added small Dimensionals to set it in place. And that was it. Super easy and very quick to make. What a fun birthday card!!!
Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
