While still playing with the "Special Reason" set and the "So Detailed" Thinlits. I am going to be very sad when it retires at the end of the month. Especially since I found so many fun cards to make using it. And I am very serious about my stamp purchasing from the new catalog. It's going to be scaled back so I can play with the sets I have. I also used the "Flourish" thinlits dies for the leaves.
So lets talk about how the card was made. I used a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock. I used the "Falling Petals" embossing folder.
I cut a 2" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White card stock for the tag. I punched the top and added a Sweet Sugarplum ribbon to it. I did have to trim off 1" on the bottom before I taped it in place. I liked up the doily piece and then added the tag.
I die cut the flower using the Sweet Sugarplum card stock. The leaves were cut using Old Olive card stock.
I glued the flower in place and then tucked in the larger leaves.
I stamped the words from the "Flourishing Phrases" set. I trimmed it up and then added the leaf. I set it in place using Dimensionals.
It is a very simple card to make. I found it here on Pinterest. I changed the colors but kept most of the layout. I don't do tag cards very often and I really do like the tag on this one.
Thank you SO much for stopping by today,
Wanda
