I'm still working on using up my "Falling in Love" Decorative Series Paper (DSP). The backside of this is a beautiful lacy image. It's the image that I was going to use on my card and somehow it got flipped over and all of a sudden I liked what I saw. I saw a super easy card to make!!! LOL
I used the "Flourishing Phrases" stamp set and "Flourish" Thinlits die. I stamped the words and used the die to cut them out.
The leaves are from the "Flourish" Thinlits dies. I cut two using Mint Macaron card stock. It was a soft enough green to compliment the card without causing a huge distraction.
The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Very Vanilla cardstock. I added a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Soft Suede cardstock. Then on top of that I added the DSP that was cut 3-3/8" x 5".
I had stamped the words on a piece of Very Vanilla using Tip Top Taupe ink. I set the leaves in place with glue dots and set the words in place using Dimensionals. And that was it. Super simple and quick. I think I would like to try it with the lacy side and see if I like it better. It was the cute flowers here that caught my attention.
