Thursday night I was at Terri's "Tin of Cards" class and one of the cards in the tin had this layout. I will share that card with you tomorrow. I LOVED that layout so much I just had to remake it using the decorative papers that I had. I like the finished results.
The base of this card is a folded half-sheet of Very Vanilla. I added a 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" piece of "Falling in Love" Decorative Series Paper (DSP) to the front of the card base. Then I took another piece of the DSP from the same package and cut it from top to bottom. I cut the top at 2-1/4" in and the bottom at 1-1/8" in. I taped that piece on top of the first piece of DSP. To save on DSP you could just use a half piece of the one you first taped down. But the top piece is not cut so there could be equal parts. I taped that second piece of DSP in place and then began to figure out what I wanted for my embellishments.
In digging through the mess on my worktable, I ran across the doily pieces I had cut from another project. I taped the doily piece in place. Then I used the "Flourish" Thinlits and die cut that lacy piece using Tip Top Taupe. I used the 2-1/2" scalloped circle and cut out a Sweet Sugarplum piece. Then I used the stitched dies and cut out a 2-3/8" circle of Very Vanilla. I stamped the words from the "Tin of Cards" set. That set is soon to retire. I'm going to miss the greetings in it the most. I stamped those words using Tip Top Taupe ink. Then I took the festive image from the "Designer Tin of Cards" set and stamped the confetti using Sweet Sugarplum ink but stamped off once before stamping on the circle.
I had a tiny gold paper clip left over from the "Tin of Cards" kit class last week. I tied a piece of Baker's Twine that I had from the March 2017 Paper Pumpkin kit. It's best to tie the twine on the paper clip, clip it to the piece and then tie the bow. I set that piece in place using Dimensionals. Then I added a few sequins that were left over from a Paper Pumpkin kit and it was done. A very quick, simple and fun card to make!

Love this card! You mention Terri Gaines a lot. Does she have her own blog?
Terri Gaines does not have a blog yet. She is working on getting one up and running. Once she does I will be linking directly to her blog. She's such a talented demonstrator!
